Tip-Top SC4000

COLD VULCANIZATION ADHESIVE SC 4000 is a two-component adhesive for bonding rubber - rubber, rubber - textile, rubber - metal and textile - textile, as well as other materials.

*must be used in combination with hardener ER-42.

Instructions for use

PREPARATION

add 4% Hardener ER-42 (30 g to 700 g) to the adhesive
mix very well until the adhesive and hardener are mixed homogeneously

WORKING TIME (MIXTURE LIFE)

up to 2 hours (*) after mixing the two components

GLUING PROCESS (OPEN TIME)

first coat: minimum 30 min., on metal minimum 1 hour (*)
second coat: when it is still slightly tacky (check with the back of your finger). In case the layer is too dry, apply another layer - up to a maximum of 3 layers in total, in case of overdrying you must repeat the rubber buffing procedure

Note: in case of rubber-metal bonding with high static and dynamic loads, it is mandatory to pre-treat the metal surfaces with primer PR200 or PR304

(*) Working, bonding and waiting times always depend on the influence of the climate and the environment, such as ambient temperature, air humidity, ventilation, etc. Therefore, the times indicated should only be considered as guidelines; the ideal time must be determined locally, taking into account the relevant climatic conditions.
